Preparation for each group of exams includes elements of lecture based ground school combined with computer directed learning in Port Alfred. Students then have dedicated revision courses, currently in Dublin or Bristol, immediately before each of the exams.
The training utilises a web-based Learning Management System (LMS). The programme consists of over 900 hours of classroom and CBT monitored tuition.
The LMS also allows a unique flexibility integrating theoretical knowledge into the practical skills training. Continuous assessment of knowledge learnt through progress testing supports a revision process designed to coincide with the flight syllabus.
Performance assessments can be easily tracked, both by Sigmar staff as well as the pre selecting airline. If needed, corrective action can be taken in a timely fashion. All of these factors contribute to a more effective result.
