Air Training – Port Alfred

Sigmar operates in partnership with 43 Air School at Port Alfred, a coastal resort in South Africa.

The airport is used almost exclusively for flying training, and all facilities and resources are tailored accordingly.

  • There are general flying areas adjacent and overhead the airport, ideal for basic flying.
  • Nearby airspace, associated with Port Elizabeth and East London, provide areas equipped with radar, navigation and approach facilities as well higher traffic densities. These areas are ideal for applied flying.
  • This part of the world enjoys a generally friendly climate all year, it also benefits from wonderful and intermittent elements of wind and poor visibility that a professional training programmes depend upon.

To optimise the process, students every need is catered for allowing the process of Air Education to take primacy.

So, you can see that Port Alfred provides a complete and dedicated training environment.
